Kai Shun Classic White 5 Knife, Oak Block and Whetstone Set

The knives included from the refined Shun Classic White range are the 23cm slicing knife, 23cm bread knife, 20cm chefs knife, the 9cm vegetable paring knife, and the 15cm utility knife.

The whetstone is 18cm x 6cm x 3cm, and its tray is a little larger than this.

The magnificent Oak block measure 21cm x 21cm and is around 28cm tall.

In contrast to the dark handle of the Shun Classic series, the handle in the Japanese chestnut shape is made of ash-coloured pakkawood. Due to the treatment with high-quality resins, the handle is particularly resistant to moisture

Kai shun knives all feature VG MAX steel with a hardness of 61 (±1) HRC.  This forms the entire blade's core right up to its edge. Sheathed in 32 layers of Damascus steel, the knife embodies a peerless anatomy paired with a resilient blade that is both hard and flexible at once due to its hybrid composition. The Shun Classic blades have a double-sided edge.
