Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 If your return is accepted, we’ll advise you on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please keep all original packaging and labels in case the carrier service asks for these. Please also take photos if possible of item and packaging damage.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot take back knives or kitchen products that have been used in any way.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 Faulty Items.

In the unlikely event of an item having a manufacturing fault, please contact us by email dan@cotswoldknifecompany.co.uk or phone 01666 575134. Please provide all necessary information including pictures or photos if possible, along with date and proof of purchase.

We will contact the manufacturer to clarify the claim and advise the course of action, and promptly advise you of this. We may need the item returned to us, in this case we will advise and provide shipping means and details.

The manufacture may wish to offer a solution direct to you, to speed things up, in which case we will share your contact and purchase details with them.

Undeliverable addresses.

Unfortunately this does happen from time to time.  If you item is returned to us as undelivered because you have entered a partial address at checkout, or a wrong address in any way shape or form, we will either charge an outgoing postage fee to re-send if you still want the item, or will deduct postage if you prefer a refund, from the original amount paid. We will notify you of any charges or reductions beforehand.
