The Ryda A-73 knife collection represents the brand’s most refined and high-end series, developed around professional performance, purposeful design, and long-term use. Created as Ryda’s defining range, A-73 brings together custom ST650 steel, French olive wood handles, and carefully considered blade geometry, resulting in a collection designed for chefs who rely on their knives every day.
Each knife in the A-73 series is built with a specific task and working style in mind. Rather than using one generic balance point across the range, Ryda adjusts the feel of each blade to suit its intended purpose. The chef’s knife, for example, is balanced further up towards the blade to support a high pinch grip, while the slicing knife carries its balance slightly further back for a steadier handle grip with a lighter pinch. With a grind scoring above 840 on the CATRA test, the A-73 series is designed to deliver strong edge performance, durability, and control in demanding kitchen environments. The collection also marks Ryda’s 10-year celebration, with the Legacy knife receiving the Red Dot Award 2024.
