Shipping policy
All bladed products are not for sale to people under the age of 18. A signature will be required on delivery.
Shipping is free on orders over £55. Orders below this are charged £4.99 for delivery and packing costs.
Channel Islands of Guernsey and Jersey are subject to the same rates.
In most cases we use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for standard deliveries.
We also offer an express service for £7.99 on orders below 2kg, this is usually sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 service depending on the item purchased.
For £10 we offer next day guaranteed service, this is provided by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Certain postcodes in the Highlands/Island, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and remote areas are excluded from this, please check the Royal Mail website or check with ourselves first to confirm any concerns here.
Orders Placed before 12 noon will normally be dispatched the same working day except in exceptional circumstances. We dispatch items Monday-Friday.
All dates quoted are approximate, non-guaranteed delivery dates are subject to change, and could vary from our estimates, we are not to be held responsible for Royal Mail delivery issues (or any other carriers) beyond our control, especially at peak times.
As a responsible supplier of knives, by placing an order on our website for a bladed product you agree to being age checked by our third party provider VerifyMyAge.
The Delivery of any bladed age restricted item can only be delivered to the address on the shipping label, but this can include the reception of a commercial building. A signature of the recipient will be required upon delivery. We adopt a 'Challenge 25' approach to delivery of age restricted products. Photo identification will be required if a person appears under 25, to prove that they are over 18 years old. An age restricted item can be delivered to another adult over the age of 18 at the same address. Delivery to a neighbour or nominated safe place location is not available for these items. If an adult over the age 18 is not available at the address, or if an adult has not been able to show valid photo identification under the Challenge 25 approach', the item will be returned to us for re-delivery the following day. Accepted forms of ID are- Passport, Driver’s license or a Citizens card. Please be aware that if identification cannot be produced at the point of delivery then the driver will not deliver your parcel.
Items are delivered from our Malmesbury Store facility, on rare occasions when stock dictates, your item may be sent direct from the manufacture.
We use age verified delivery services, the type of service and the provider used may change from item to item at our discretion.
Undeliverable addresses.
Unfortunately this does happen from time to time. If you item is returned to us as undelivered because you have entered a partial address at checkout, or a wrong address in any way shape or form, we will either charge an outgoing postage fee to re-send if you still want the item, or will deduct postage if you prefer a refund, from the original amount paid. We will notify you of any charges or reductions beforehand.
Return Charges
Where items are returned to the sender (us) for any of the below reasons, your items will incur a charge which we are levied by Royal Mail
- Undelivered items that have not been collected, nor a Redelivery arranged within the 18-day holding period
- Incorrect/incomplete address
- Recipient moved (gone away)
- Recipient refused delivery.
We will charge £3.50 plus the outgoing postage if you require re-delivery.
We will deduct £3.50 from the total amount if the item is to be refunded.
