Ryda Knives is a Swedish knife brand built around chef-led design, practical performance, and long-term refinement. Founded by chef and creative director Viktor Ingmarsson, the brand was developed from years of kitchen experience and a strong focus on how knives actually feel in use. Rather than approaching knives only as display pieces, Ryda places particular emphasis on grip, balance, blade geometry, and the way each knife supports daily prep work.
The brand’s first knives took six years of development and testing before launch, with close attention paid to steel choice, blade hardness, grind, handle shape, and feedback from working chefs. Today, Ryda’s range includes the A-30 series, designed around lightweight balance and pinch-grip comfort, and the higher-end A-73 series, built with custom ST650 steel, French olive wood handles, and task-specific balance across each blade shape. The A-73 range also marked Ryda’s 10-year celebration, with the Legacy knife receiving Red Dot Award recognition in 2024.
