Crafted from solid oak, the Prism Oak Knife Block features a simple and functional design. The inbuilt slots allow maximum space around the knives, aiding access when in use whilst protecting knife blade edges. Includes six knives from the award-winning Signature knife range.
Designed in consultation with professional chefs, these multi-award winning kitchen knives feature fully forged German DIN 1.4116 stainless steel blades with a full tang for extra strength. The Japanese-style blade edges are hand applied at a 15° angle. The handles are made from tactile DuPont™ and ergonomically shaped for comfort, balance and to minimise fatigue.

When Robert Welch left the Royal College of Art in 1955, he set up with just his drawing board and a camp bed in a little rented room in a disused workshop in the 18th century Silk Mill at Chipping Campden in the English Cotswold Hills.
From the start, Robert was passionately driven to design highly functional, affordable products which possessed a timeless elegant beauty. He demonstrated this with his first major success - pioneering the introduction of stylish stainless steel cutlery to the UK.
Now boasting a range of some 26 knives and a multitude of cutlery designs, Robert Welch set new standards in the UK for kitchen and chef knives at an affordable price.
Using German steel, they produce everything from small vegetable knives, a selection of chefs and cooks knives, standard and serrated kitchen knives, longer carving and slicing knives plus the ever popular Santoku knives.
